I partner with brands to design experiences, community-driven programming, and storytelling that create lasting connections season after season. My work lives at the intersection of culture, place, and the rituals that run through all of us.
My name, "Ojalvo", comes from Turkey by way of Spain — a name my entire paternal family carries. Derived from ojala, meaning "I wish" in Spanish, it embodies the energy of perseverance and following your boldest visions. I carry this as a blessing from my ancestors. With this name, I bring my wishes onto the earth plane, hoping to leave this planet more beautiful than I found it.On Holiday
I see everything through rose-colored glasses. Being naturally curious has led me to meet many people and visit a lot of places. I collect and tell stories, and create rich dialogues to share with others. Born in a multicultural body, I draw from the diversity within me to guide everything I make.
I also write a newsletter called On Holiday — personal essays exploring how we might live with more ritual, more presence, and more magic in the everyday. Through nods to ancestral wisdom and cultures I deeply respect, I write about what it means to come back home to yourself.
I hope to meet you soon.
Things I enjoy:
European greetings, thoughtful design, maximalist souvenir collecting, healthy living in soul and body, movement, copious celebration, belly laughter, fresh fruit, a warm, tropical breeze (with a hint of salt air smell), spring water, shopping with small business owners in new (to me) places, collecting good stories.
