My name, “Ojalvo” comes from Turkey by way of Spain, and is a name that my whole paternal family carries. Derived from “ojala” meaning “I wish” in Spanish, Ojalvo embodies the energy of perseverance and following my boldest visions and dreams. I hold this sentiment—this blessing from my ancestors in my whole being. With this name, I bring my wishes onto the earth plane, hoping to make this planet more beautiful than how I found it.

I see everything through rose-colored glasses. Being naturally curious has led me to meet many people, and visit a lot of places. I enjoy collecting and telling stories, and creating rich dialogues to share with others. Being born in a multi-cultural body, I utilize the diversity within me to guide me in my approach to my work. I founded MOJALVO, a creative studio, as a space to express my unique perspectives and stories I gather throughout this lifetime. Through my creative extensions, I partner with brands, people, and locations to bring their voice to its fullest and most authentic expression, be it through writing, visuals, or brand experience.

I also write a newsletter called ON HOLIDAY, exploring how we may live more intuitively and intentionally in the world. Through nods from ancestral wisdom and cultures (my own and others that I deeply respect), I write stories about the experiences I have and how I am fostering a deeper zeal for living each day as if I were on holiday.
